Your Hill Billy Guarantee

1. With effect from January 1st 2009, Hill Billy (a division of PowaKaddy International Limited) (Hill Billy) of Castle Road, Sittingbourne, Kent ME10 3RN provides to the purchaser of any new Hill Billy product (the Product) purchased from an authorised retailer in the United Kingdom or Ireland a Manufacturers Limited Guarantee against inherent defects for the period, and on the conditions, set out below:

2. The guarantee is subject to the following exclusions and conditions:

   i. Accidental damage, customer misuse or neglect
   ii. Abnormal wear and tear
   iii. Rental or other commercial use
   iv. Unauthorised modification to the Product
   v. Faulty repairs by consumer or unauthorised agent
   vi. Failure to follow battery charging instructions, including discharging a battery to lower than 8 volts.

3. Hill Billy reserves the right to inspect or test any Product claimed to be defective.

4. Any parts repaired or replaced under guarantee are guaranteed to the end of the original period.

5. The period of guarantee commences on the date of purchase of the Product. Proof of purchase and purchase date may be required.

6. Warranty registration within 30 days of purchase of an Electric Golf Trolley or Battery is recommended to ensure any claim can be processed promptly, without need for further proof of purchase.

7. The guarantee is non-transferable and is only available to residents of UK and Eire. Customers living outside UK/Eire should contact their retailer or local distributor.

8. In the event of a warranty claim the consumer should contact either Hill Billy or (in respect of an Electric Golf Trolley or Battery) his local authorised Service Agent (see www.hillbilly.co.uk/after-sales-and-service for details), or his retailer for any other Product.

9. This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect the consumers statutory rights. Further information in respect of these statutory rights can be obtained from your local Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.

Battery guarantee procedure

Policy:
- Lead Acid batteries (and related wiring, connectors, bags) are guaranteed against inherent manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from date of purchase

   Conditions:
   - Battery must have been used and charged in accordance with the instructions provided
   - You must complete a Battery Claim form/questionnaire
   - When tested for voltage a battery should present a voltage of not less than 8 Volts, a battery presented with a lower voltage will be considered deep discharge caused by failure to follow instructions on use and charging
   - Excludes any physical damage to battery, connectors, wiring or charger
   - Excludes customer misuse, neglect or negligence
   - Credit card security will be required for a battery which fails after more than 3 months from date of purchase and a carriage/test charge of £15 will be made if physically damaged or low voltage (below 8 volts) due to poor charging regime
   - Proof of purchase date required

General conditions

   - Reconditioned parts may be used.
   - The Hill Billy guarantee is limited to 1 year on all Products purchased prior to January 1st 2009.
   - Reconditioned Trolleys are subject to a 6 month warranty only
